This is the second part of the awesome wedding I assisted Jeanette Verster with in September in Zimbabwe at Bushman Rock.  This wedding just rocked!  Enjoy Part II of this with me.

You can see Part I here.

  Nyasha is so beautiful!

A bit of fun with the boys again..

I love the spontaneous fun between them!

Phillip and the groomsmen each had his own initials embroidered on their one cuff…I like this!

An emotional moment between two sisters!

Nyasha and Phillip | Zimbabwe Wedding Part I

Nyasha and Phillip’s wedding is one of the most awesome weddings I ever assisted with and I am so grateful towards Jeanette Verster for taking me along to Zimbabwe to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Bushman Rock.  Not only was it my first time crossing the border of South Africa getting a stamp in my brand new passport and shooting with Jeanette, but I had so many “this is the first time ever for me” experiences as I mentioned in this post.

Everything about this wedding was just super awesome.  From the venue, the decor, the guests and the food, as well as Nyasha and Phillip being the dream couple to photograph.  They were very easy to work with and their love for each was so awesome to capture on camera.  They treated us like family and it was one of my best experiences ever and I have special memories.

Enjoy the first part of this wedding with me and if I could post the whole wedding in one post I would, but have to divide in two to make loading easier and it helps that you get some of this love twice.

I love this font!  Just love it!

 Oooh, loved the socks!

These guys really were so much fun!

I loved the way the “try and fit” the wedding ring on each finger and saying a prayer!

He found the finger where the rings fits…:-)

Canon 100mm Macro lens

Posted by on 2012/09/12 in Weddings | 2 comments

When I went to Zimbabwe to assist Jeanette Verster with a wedding at Bushman Rock beginning of September, she gave me the opportunity to use her Canon 100 mm Macro lens to do the rings shots with it.  When we got together for the ceremony she wanted to know if I used it and on confirmation wanted to know what I thought about the lens.  My first reaction was: “I think I am in love with it!”  I so want one too now!  So I thought about doing a post just about the images I got with it.  What helps is that the bride and groom had gorgeous rings!!

My own Moo Minicards

Posted by on 2012/09/11 in Marketing and packaging | 2 comments

One thing I love about Facebook is that it is almost like Google.  If you are looking for something you’ll find it there.  I recently saw a post on another photographer’s wall stating that you can get Moo Minicards for free if you are willing to add the Etsy site’s badge on your cards.  Etsy being the most amazing site where you can buy or sell handmade and vintage items, art and supplies.  So if Moo, who creates and customises premium business cards, minicards and postcards, is giving away free Minicards it is an opportunity you don’t let go by.  So I designed my card on their site, paid the postage fees and two weeks later I got my cards.  And I am so in love with these Minicards.

If I can say it myself…They are SO cute!!

Yes, they are all Mine!!

The link to get yours from Moo is here!
