Viki, Alex and Alyssa | Family shoot
Viki and her kids are one awesome family! I met Viki while I was working in one of my previous teams and we immediately hit it off. When she asked me to take photos of her and her cool kids (and I say cool for a very specific reason, but you’ll understand why just now), I was thrilled. I really wanted to do something with them that I have never done and which they can do themselves to bond, and I got the opportunity. We first met up at Kloofendal Nature Reserve and then ended up in a cul-de-sac in a suburb where we took the last photos.
So why do I say Viki has cool kids? Go and look at the last few photos we took. They drew all the pictures on the road and where so willing to pose for these. That is why they are so cool!
I ended up having so much fun with them!

Fifty Shades of Boudoir | Shade Twelve
Ek is in ‘n baie bevoorregte posisie as ek net dink aan al die mooi vrouens van wie ek al boudoirsessies gedoen het. So was Annemie nie anders nie. Met haar ongelooflike mooi blou oë en donker hare het sy my laat wonder of sy nie maar eerder ‘n model moes gewees het nie. Nie net is sy pragtig van buite nie, sy is net so mooi van binne. Annemie was my twaalfde Fifty Shades of Boudoir sessie en sy is een van daardie mense wat jy net oor en oor kan afneem!
Ilana van Cosmetiek het weer haar towerstafie kom swaai en soos gewoonlik het sy wondere verrig.

Fifty Shades of Boudoir | Shade Eleven
Nicole contacted me for boudoir photos and only after a few e-mails between us she said she was also a photographer – a very good newborn, maternity and family photographer I might add. And for one photographer to do a shoot for another just adds to the stress of really giving your best and taking the most awesome photos. So I was stressing till I met her, but it was so not needed. Nicole is a natural infront of the camera and gave me the most stunning photos.

Ilze en Johan | Verloof, Smutshuis
Ilze en Johan het my al sommer lank terug geboek en trou later vanjaar by Forest Walk in Midrand. Dis ‘n troue waarna ek baie uitsien en dink Ilze gaan ‘n pragtige bruid maak. Sy en Johan het ‘n spesiale band tussen hulle en dit is onmisbaar op die foto’s. Hulle het met ‘n paar idees na die sessie gekom wat baie help om vas te stel wie hulle is op hul eie en ook in verhouding, maar was ook oop vir idees van my kant af soos ons foto’s geneem het.
Ons het hul foto’s by Smutshuis in Irene geneem. Dit was my eerste keer daar en is sommer mal verlief hierop! Soos julle in die foto’s kan sien.
Geniet hierdie saam my en sien net so baie soos ek na hul troue!

Elouwdi en Gustav | Avianto troue
Ek het Elouwdi en Gustav se verlowingsessie vroeër vanjaar by Deltapark in Linden afgeneem en het sommer dadelik geweet dat hierdie tweetjies ongelooflike mooi foto’s op hul troue gaan maak. En ek was so reg. Die liefde tussen hulle was so voelbaar op hierdie koue koue Wintersdag in Julie by die pragtige Avianto wat vir ons ‘n baie mooi Wintersagtergrond gegee het, maar dink nie ons het eers die koue gevoel met al die mooi foto’s wat ons geneem het nie.
My assistentfotograaf was Eloise wat haar weer goed van haar taak gekwyt het en ook soos gewoonlik goeie geselskap was.
